Latest data released by INSEE - 8 September 2021

  • Prior -€5.82 billion; revised to -€6.05 billion
The French trade deficit widened in July as exports fell by 2.0% on the month while imports improved marginally by 0.1%. There is still some degree of pushing and pulling in trade conditions but as a trend, they should show an improvement over time.
