- Industrial production -0.7% vs -1.4% y/y expected
- Prior -1.1%; revised to -1.0%
- Manufacturing production +1.4% vs +0.9% m/m expected
- Prior -2.1%; revised to -1.9%
- Manufacturing production -1.3% vs -1.5% y/y expected
- Prior -1.0%; revised to -0.8%
Those are some decent improvements on the monthly figures there for French factory activity, with positive revisions for September to boot. That will at least reaffirm slightly that things aren't exactly all doom and gloom but this will do little to negate the poor German readings earlier, which is the heavy focus of the Eurozone slowdown seen so far this year.
