PARIS (MNI) – French Finance Minister Pierre Moscovici said Monday
that a Greek exit from the Eurozone was not an “acceptable solution.”

Speaking to journalists following a meeting here with Italian
Finance Minister Vittorio Grilli, Moscovici said that he would head to
Athens on Thursday for meetings with Greek Prime Minister Antonis
Samaras and other officials.

Both Greece and Europe must “meet their commitments,” Moscovici
said. He said that France would meet its own budget deficit commitment
in the 2013 budget to be presented later this month and would do
everything possible to “preserve the integrity of the Eurozone.”

Moscovici praised the European Central Bank’s bond-buying plan,
saying that it was “absolutely fundamental” to remove doubts in the
markets about the durability of the euro.
