So, polls are still a thing are they?

This via Reuters, citing a BVA poll:

  • Marine Le Pen seen at 27.5% in first round of presidential election (+2.5%) - BVA poll
  • Macron seen at 21% in first round (- 1%)
  • (Conservative) Fillon at 19% (-1%)

And:

  • Macron seen beating Le Pen 61 to 39% in presidential runoff
  • Fillon seen defeating Le Pen 55 to 45%

Most of the news/polling relevant to the French election is hitting during UK/Europe and US times, and its moving the EUR:

  • We've just had a lightbulb moment for trading the French election
