The FT reports that the Greek referendum will be on whether to stay a member of the EU or the euro zone and not on the bailout itself.

It seems to me that the euro fairs very poorly when put to a vote. I can remember the Danes and the Irish voting against it (until the Ireland was strong-armed granted a do-over). Hard to see Greeks lining up to vote for endless austerity, though I could be wrong…

If I stay there will be trouble, if I go there will be double… Wise words indeed.
