Further US-China tensions as Senate supports sanction on Chinese officials

The US Senate has approved a bill to sanction Chinese government officials responsible for internment camps in Xinjiang

  • Senate passed (unanimous consent) the Uighur Human Rights Policy Act
This comes amidst rising US-China tensions on trade, Taiwan. While the USD has lost some ground over the past hour or so this and this:
(no longer a threat, the White House has ssued a formal veto threat on House $3 trillion stimulus bill)
