There were conflicting reports over the weekend.
White House senior adviser Everett Eissenstat said "there would be a meeting on the sidelines of next week's U.N. General Assembly with American representatives 'to assess what is the real US position,' but noted 'it's a message, which is quite different to the one we heard from President Trump in the past.' "
The comments from Cohn, confirm that the President has not changes his stance.
UPDATE: The White House is out with another clarification saying:
- We are withdrawing from the Paris Agreement unless we can reengage on terms more favorable to the United States.
