Cable has fallen to new session lows at 1.6068 and is eyeing support down at 1.6050, the low set on Friday.
EUR/USD has eased toward 1.4310 in the wake of the 16:00 GMT fixing. Traders will be wary for a steady grind higher this afternoon as that has been the pattern in recent sessions. Today’s spike in US yields may hamper a EUR/USD bounce, however. 1.4280 and 1.4260 are supports below the market near-term.
