The latest round of German budget-cutting will see Germany back within EU deficit caps no later than 2013.
- No further tax cuts are expected during this parliament
- Army to be cut by 40,000
- Federal government workforce to be cut by 10,000 by 2014
- EUR 80 bln will have to be cut by 2014
