BERLIN (MNI) – German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said
Thursday he does not believe governments will be able to create a public
rating agency.
Schaeuble told reporters on the sidelines of an industry conference
here that he does not believe that “states will be able to do [ratings]
on their own.”
Yet, the Minister said he would like to see a bigger diversity of
rating agencies.
