Further CPI prints from around Germany

Here's a rundown of the German regional numbers that were out earlier and the rest that have just followed

  • Saxony 0.4% vs 0.2% prior
  • Hesse 0.3% unch
  • Brandenburg 0.3% vs -0.1% prior
  • Bavaria 0.7% vs 0.5% prior
  • North Rhine 0.6% vs 0.4% prior
  • Baden Wuerttemberg 0.3% unch

That's a decent pick up in inflation in the main. The headline German numbers are out at 13.00 GMT and are expected as follows;

  • HICP 0.4% exp vs 0.2% prior y/y
  •  -1.0% exp vs 0.0% prior m/m
  • CPI 0.4% exp vs 0.3% prior y/y
  • -0.8% exp vs -0.1% prior m/m
