That is the biggest quarterly sales drop since 2008
This according to the German stats office. It's no surprise given the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown measures imposed by the country and across the region since March. If anything, Q2 is going to signify a steeper drop in sales/volume and that will just add to the burden of businesses involved in the tourism sector in the coming months.
