BERLIN (MNI) – German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble cancelled
a speech at a tax conference scheduled for 10:30 GMT today due to a
conference call of G7 finance ministers, the host of the conference
said.
German Deputy Finance Minister Hans Bernhard Beus, who stepped in
for Schaeuble at the tax conference, said the Minister did not show up
due “to this short-term international duty.”
