BERLIN (MNI) – The German government has information that
terrorists are planning an attack in the country at the end of the
month, German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said Wednesday.
“There is reason to be worried, but not for hysteria,” de Maiziere
said at a press conference here.
The information about a possible terrorist attack at the end of the
month “is concrete,” the Minister said.
The government will do what it can to prevent these attacks from
taking place, he said. Germany will increase controls at its borders as
well as at airports, train stations and important buildings, he
announced.
