But still, the figures are relatively encouraging as the virus situation continues to improve in Germany. Active cases have now fallen to ~145,200 and that is the lowest since the end of October, so that is some good news.
That said, hospitalisations are still stretched with there being 3,427 (-61) virus patients requiring intensive care as of yesterday and only 5,086 (19%) intensive care beds still available across the country.
