Lots of talk this week about SPD leader Schulz stepping down and paving the way for another grand coalition. Yesterday he called for SPD meeting.

Jury still out but euro bulls backing a positive solution still.

Update: This from Steinmeir's office:

  • will meet with CDU/CSU/SPD leaders next week
  • exact data will be communicated nearer the time

So let's see who turns up.
