Hu Xijin says it's a bad sign
Responding to comments from Mnuchin that a deal with China was 90% completed, Global Times editor Hu Xijin says that Chinese officials aren't as optimistic and that Chinese media has continued to be harshly critical of the US, something that didn't happen ahead of prior summits.
At some point ahead of Saturday I expect some jitters and risk aversion in the market. How much would a blow-up at the meeting hurt markets at the open on Monday? That's a significant risk.
