The German finance minister is on the wires saying that there is no lack of EU solidarity on Greece but that the impression should not be given that Greece does not have to solve its own problems. They need to fullfill the conditions of EU budget rules, the minister says.
The Greek prime minister earlier in the day said that Greece would tackle its problems alone. It remains to be scene if they take the extreme austerity approach adpted by Ireland earlier in the week.
