Greek 2009 budget deficit revised upwards to 15.4%/GDP – Eurostat

Versus previous 13.6%. Had been widely tipped before. But EUR/USD still struggling, presently at 1.3625.

Greek FinMin says:

• Greece pledges to continue budget consolidation effort in line with EU/IMF bailout plan
• Greece has reduced 2010 deficit-to-GDP ratio by 6% points, more than targetted
• Greek 2010 deficit-to-GDP ratio is 9.4%
