An announcement from Canadian PM Harper and the head of the opposition Liberal Party is expected later this morning that they have reached a deal to avoid the government being brought down over a dispute over unemployment benefits.
That should remove one bit of uncertainty that has been undermining the Loonie of late. USD/CAD trades now at 1.1380.
