The dynamic trio are all scheduled to speak later today
We'll be in for a treat today as we'll have Draghi, Carney, and Kuroda all speaking in the European morning. That said, only Draghi's press conference is likely to be of any major importance but let's dive deeper into the agenda just in case:
0825 GMT - BOJ governor Haruhiko Kuroda speaks in Tokyo
Kuroda will be delivering keynote remarks at the Institute of International Finance (IIF) Spring Membership meeting. He is expected to speak for about 30 minutes and given the conference backdrop, he could touch on things like the global economy, trade, domestic conditions, and the financial system.
0855 GMT - BOE governor Mark Carney speaks in Tokyo
Carney will also be delivering keynote remarks at the same IIF Spring Membership meeting and then he will have an in-conversation session with IIF Chairman, Axel Weber. Similar to Kuroda, he could be touching on the same points regarding the global economy, trade, and the financial system in general.
1230 GMT - ECB president Mario Draghi press conference
This is from the economic data preview: Draghi will communicate the central bank's latest economic projections and they are expected to include downside risks should global economic developments continue to slow. That said, watch out for his language on how confident they are in believing that the economy will rebound in 2H 2019 and where inflation is headed towards. That will ultimately determine where the euro trades but I don't see how much of a different tone he can offer up from the April monetary policy meeting.
