Heads up: ECB speakers on the agenda later today
Shouldn't be anything too notable though
A bit of a heads up that we will be hearing from two ECB governing council members later today but unlike the Fed, they're likely not going to have a profound impact on markets. Here's the agenda:
0820 GMT - ECB's Yves Mersch speaks in Bratislava
Mersch will be giving a speech at an event on "10 Years of the €uro in Slovakia". Not likely to contain any significant monetary policy comments given the backdrop.
1600 GMT - ECB's Ignazio Visco speaks in Rome
Visco will be acting more in his capacity as Bank of Italy governor here as he speaks at a book presentation. Given the event, he's not likely to touch on anything monetary policy-related.
