Fedspeak will be part of the calendar day in the European afternoon

Fed

Here's what you can look forward to later today:

1300 GMT - Fed's Eric Rosengren speaks in Boston

Rosengren will be addressing the National Association of Corporate Directiors' New England Chapter, on his analysis of the current economic landscape. There will also be a Q&A session with the audience thereafter. Do take note that Rosengren is a voter on the FOMC this year.

1430 GMT - Fed's Neel Kashkari speaks in Minnesota

Kashkari will be speaking before the Minnesota Senate Finance Committee on state economic conditions and the overview of the Minneapolis Fed. He's arguably the most dovish member on the Fed so expect Kashkari to keep up with the soft stance towards raising rates and also on the economy.

1630 GMT - Fed's Thomas Barkin speaks in Richmond

Barkin will be delivering a speech on 'Moving the needle in rural communities' at the Virginia Governor's Conference on Agricultural Trade. I wouldn't expect much notable comments pertaining to the economy and monetary policy here.
