Federal Reserve speakers on the agenda today
Here's the list:
1130 GMT - Fed vice chair Richard Clarida interview with Bloomberg TV
No specific topics for the segment but expect comments on monetary policy and the economy (possibly trade as well) to come from Clarida.
1300 GMT - Fed supervision vice chair Randal Quarles speaks in New York
Quarles will be discussing the outlook for the US economy, inflation, and monetary policy at the Council on Foreign Relations.
1415 GMT - Fed's John Williams speaks at a conference in New York
NY Fed chief Williams will be delivering the welcome remarks at a conference on the 'Evolving Structure of the US Treasury Market'. He may mention a point or two on policy/the economy but nothing too major is expected.
1530 GMT - Fed's Lael Brainard speaks at a conference in New York
Brainard will be making an appearance in the same event as Williams where she will be delivering the keynote address. Brainard is more of a neutral relative to Williams but she also may touch on a couple of points pertaining to monetary policy or the economy later.
1800 GMT - Fed's Robert Kaplan speaks at a community forum in Texas
Dallas Fed chief Kaplan will be speaking at a community forum hosted by his bank. There's no details on what he'll be speaking about but it will also involved a Q&A session after with the audience and the media.
Among those speaking today, only Kaplan isn't a voting member as we enter the final FOMC meeting later this month.
