Chinese and Japanese markets are off today
Liquidity in Asia should be relatively thin with Japanese markets off but don't rule out potential moves in the aussie and kiwi with China April PMI data due later at 0100 GMT.
For the rest of the week, Chinese markets will also be closed tomorrow in observance of Labour Day while Japanese markets will also be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of Constitution Day and Greenery Day respectively.
