Priors were (for September):
- inflation 0.3% m/m (0.1% in August), y/y, 2.1%
- trimmed mean was 0.3% and 1.8%
This is not official data and takes a back seat to the ABS data we had last week, but a useful guide nonetheless. The ABS quarterly data last week indicated subdued inflationary pressure in Australia.
