Well you've come to the right place then
It's doorstep time from Brussels
Germany's Schaeuble says;
- EU ministers will discuss economic fundamentals
- Need to find stable growth amid turmoil
- Sees markets already nervous about Portugal
- Banking sector volatility is a bit excessive
Spain's de Guindos
- Nothing fundamental has changed in the Eurozone (yep it's still crap)
- Eurozone slowdown largely from outside the Eurozone (i.e it's not our fault)
- Global slowdown proving worse than expected (aren't they always?)
It's always fun listening to these clowns.
Next up: Frances Sapin saying that France's GDP will be 5.0% this year and Italy's Padoan saying they'll hit the EU budget targets after all ;-)
