The National Hurricane Center latest:

  • Hurricane Florence downgraded to category 1 storm off North Carolina coast
  • With maximum sustained winds diminishing to 90 miles per hour

That is good news, better than earlier at least. Still, I don't imagine those in the path will be relaxing too much.
