Ifo's Fuest: German coalition blueprint "overall not great"

Some comments by Fuest on the aftermath of exploratory talks by German political leaders.

This week will prove to be a big week for coalition talks as Schulz needs to shore up support from his party to agree on further discussions with Merkel's Conservatives. The deadline for Schulz is Sunday - so there could be some twists and turns over the weekend.

EUR/USD now at 1.2227 bouncing off session lows of 1.2209 earlier.
