Greece has expressed interest in a 3-year precautionary standby agreement, an IMF official tells Reuters. The mission to Greece, starting Monday, will last around 15 days. European financing for Greece must be assured to trigger IMF funding, the official says while adding that the EU does to want IMF funding to exceed more than 1/3 of the total.
