  • Continuing claims 2081K vs 2033K expected

That's a miss but it's still a good reading in the grand scheme of things. The Department of Labor said the number of claims was boosted by Thanksgiving, in any case.

I also imagine that election workers will be a skew in the jobs data in November and December.
