2018 GDP growth stands at 0.9% for Italy
- 2017 GDP growth revised up to 1.7% from 1.6% previously
- No changes made to 2017, 2018 deficit-to-GDP ratios
Well, the more telling problem about Italy's economy is that it fell into a recession at the end of last year. While growth may improve slightly in Q1 2019, it's not going to take away from the fact that the Italian economy has yet to really recover since the global financial crisis.
