Italian government reportedly at odds over pensions, taxes on cars and gas

  • Says Conte and Five-Star party favour for Tria to resign
  • Meanwhile Salvini opposes any calls for Tria to step down
I would expect the government to refute the claims here later but there does appear to be some internal strife among top Italian officials on the budget at this point in time, whether or not it be on pension reforms and/or taxes.

Conte said that they will submit a new budget plan to the European Commission next Tuesday but it doesn't look like they can settle on one that the commission will be willing to approve.
