That's the lowest headline print in two years. The main drag comes from a fall in new orders as the index fell from 50.1 to 48.7 in August. Not quite the print euro bulls will be hoping for but let's see what the final prints for the rest of the region are before making further conclusions.

This certainly offsets the positive Spain reading earlier on though.
