ITALY DATA: Final November HICP was unchanged m/m and rose 1.9% y/y,
revised up from preliminary readings published by ISTAT at the end of
November (prel.:-0.1% m/m, +1.8% y/y). It follows m/m gains of 0.7%
in October and 0.6% in September.
–The main domestic index (NIC) was confirmed unchanged m/m, +1.7% y/y.
–November core NIC inflation rose +1.5% y/y, the same rise registered
in October.
–Net of Energy NIC inflation rose +1.5% y/y, also matching October’s
y/y gain.
–Final ‘NIC’ data provides a +1.5% platform of acquired inflation for
2010
