Latest data released by Istat - 15 February 2018
- Prior global trade balance +EUR 4.83 bn; revised to +EUR 5.69 bn
- EU trade balance -EUR 0.97 bn
- Prior EU trade balance +EUR 0.24 bn; revised to -EUR 0.10 bn
Delay in the data release by Istat.
Higher than expected surplus on the global trade balance, but a deficit (along with prior revision) on the EU reading. A minor data point though, the more important readings were for Germany and France which were released last week.
