Italian factory activity contracts at its slowest rate in over eight months but still leaves a lot to be desired in terms of trying to get the economy back on track.
The positive thing is that there is some mild improvement in economic conditions to start the year but nothing to really suggest that the economy will move away from the sluggish growth trend for the time being.
