With the fiscal rule book thrown out the window, Italy is continuing to pile on stimulus measures to deal with the economic fallout from the virus outbreak.

As things stand, lockdown measures have been extended to 13 April but it may carry on for longer as we have only just started to see signs of the outbreak slowing down - but the case load is still in the thousands as seen yesterday here.
