Gotta love some good ol' Italian drama. As mentioned last year, expect this to be an issue once again in the coming months later this year. Italy's defiance here is nothing that really stands out considering the battle between the populist government and the more centrist body in the European Commission ahead of the elections in May; but certainly poses some downside risk for the euro currency.
