Tensions within the ruling government has seen Italian assets stumble at the start of the trading day, but the earlier losses has seen some recovery some what. Italy's MIB is now down only 0.6% after having posted losses of more than 1% earlier in the session.
We're seeing further recovery on the MIB now after Di Maio's comments, as the index pares losses to only 0.3% now.
