The battle between Italy and the European Commission continues and so long as the coalition government remains in charge, there will be constant friction between both parties.
For now, Italian finance minister, Giovanni Tria, seems confident of reaching a resolution on the budget/debt disagreement but we'll see how things go in the coming days. With anything politics, things can change really quickly so don't sleep on this matter just yet.
