Salvini's economic adviser, Armando Siri, comments to Messaggero
- Says that only some budget measures can be changed
- Says Italian voters expect promises to be kept
This follows the comments over the weekend by Salvini which suggests there could be wiggle room in the budget deficit target. But if they're determined to deliver on the promises made during the election, it's hard to see the deficit target falling in a significant manner that the European Commission will be able to come to terms with.
