Jacob Rees-Moog: There will not be a MV4
Sounds like he's not going to give May his vote again
May sounds like she wants to take another crack at a vote and try to sway 29 MPs to support her. However, it's an even taller task that it looks like if Rees-Moog is to be believed. He now says he won't be supporting her again and neither will the ERG.
"We will all come together now. There will be no MV4. This deal is dead. It is not coming back," he said.
Consider this. Rees-Moog is just playing politics to get rid of May. Her promise to quit crippled her going forward and he got it in exchange for switching his vote. He held up his end of the deal but he knew that it wouldn't pass.
So if his goal was to get rid of her and not have it pass -- mission accomplished.
