JAPAN DATA: China bought a net 231.9 billion yen ($2.78 billion) in
Japanese short-term bills in October after disposing a net 624.3 billion
in September, snapping a second-straight month of net sales, data
released today by Japan’s Ministry of Finance showed. China, meantime,
bought a net Y30.6 billion worth of Japanese bonds following net sales
of Y144.9 billion in the previous month, the MOF data showed.
