JAPAN DATA: Japan’s economic growth in the second quarter will be
revised down slightly to +0.2% on quarter, or an annualized 1.0% rise,
from an initial 0.3% gain (annualized +1.4%), reflecting an expected
downward revision to business investment and private-sector inventories,
according to the median forecast of 12 economists surveyed by MNI. The
Cabinet Office will release revised (second preliminary) GDP data for
April-June at 0850 JST on Monday, Sept. 10 (2350 GMT Sunday).
