Japan votes on Sunday, half the seats (121 out of 242) in the upper house up for grabs

The WSJ has a handy guide in their '5 things to know' format

1. On current polling it appears Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's Liberal Democratic Party could achieve an outright majority in the upper house,

It might even get a two-thirds majority (super-majority) in the upper house in combination with its coalition party

2. The difficult state of the economy may bot count too much against Abe

3. Constitutional reform can be achieved with a 2/3 majority, but there are doubts there will be much.
