Core inflation (excluding fresh food) was at 0.7%

  • 'Core-core' inflation, that is excluding fresh food and energy, came in at 0.4% y/y. (Core-core inflation is comparable to core inflation elsewhere in the world)

  • expect headline inflation to briefly turn negative by the middle of the year.
