The statistic basically measures the total value of services purchased by Japanese businesses over the month.
Slight delay in the data release by the source. A minor data point, the index shows that retail trade and business-related services were the main drag on the month.
USD/JPY at 106.65, near the highs for the day. EUR/JPY at 131.51 and GBP/JPY at 148.20, both similar as well.
