The drop in factory orders continue as the Japanese manufacturing sector continues to experience a broad-scale slump. In yen terms, overall orders have dropped to just ¥81.7 billion - the lowest level since February 2013.
The reading measures the change in total value of new orders placed with Japanese machine tool manufacturers.
