The Business Sentiment Index (BSI) survey conducted by the Ministry of Finance and the Economic and Social Research Institute (a part of Japan's Cabinet office) is conducted quarterly.
- The survey measures the percentage of firms that expect the business environment to improve from the previous quarter minus the percentage that expect it to worsen.
Not generally a market-mover, but background info on Japanese business sentiment.
